Our Story

Where It All Began

Some careers are chosen. Others are built — one decision, one risk, and one lesson at a time.

For our founder, Mandeep Singh, the journey into construction began with a fascination for seeing an empty lot transformed into a place where families could live, grow, and create lasting memories.

In 2010, Mandeep took on his first project as an owner-builder at 4078 Moscrop Street, Burnaby. Like many first projects, it came with challenges, lessons, and valuable experience. Every obstacle became an opportunity to learn, improve, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

That first home sparked a lifelong commitment to residential construction and laid the groundwork for everything that followed.

Growing Step by Step

Building on the success of his early projects, Mandeep partnered with friends and family to establish his first construction company. Through years of hands-on experience, the team delivered a growing portfolio of homes while developing the practical knowledge that only comes from building in the real world.

Over time, Mandeep and his trusted business partner Manav Gupta co-founded Xerox Properties, expanding their focus into larger residential developments.

Their most ambitious project to date is a 57-unit multi-residential apartment development in Quesnel, British Columbia, representing a significant milestone in the company's growth and demonstrating the team's ability to successfully manage projects of increasing scale and complexity.

With over 15 years of hands-on construction experience, Mandeep founded Xerox Builders on a simple belief: every family deserves a home built with skill, honesty, and genuine care. His owner-builder background provides a unique perspective, allowing him to understand every stage of the building process from planning and permitting through final completion.

His education and certifications include BC Building Code, Construction Law, Business Planning, Financial Management, Project Management, Building Science, Service & Warranty, and all current BC Housing licensing requirements.

MANAV GUPTA

Manav brings strategic thinking, business leadership, and development expertise to every project. His ability to manage complex residential developments while maintaining quality standards has been instrumental in the company's continued growth and success.
